Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction and remodeling? We are seeking a talented Estimator to join our dynamic team at [Double T Construction & Roofing], a leading remodeling contractor known for exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

Position Overview:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction phase, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and our project managers to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure project feasibility. Your analytical skills and industry knowledge will drive our success in delivering projects on budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates. Many Projects are design Build.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids and proposals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential challenges.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
- Create scope and estimate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the remodeling or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
- Able to conceptual bid, without plans for design build projects like building and addition to a home.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus.
