Our client, a growing professional services company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team in Atlanta, GA.


Full-time, direct hire role.


To be considered, you must live in the Greater Atlanta Area and be able to work in an office located in Midtown.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Key Responsibilities


Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.


Financial Management:

  • Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards.


Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance.
  • Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis.


Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial resources.
  • Oversee relationships with banks and financial institutions.


Banking Relationships:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Negotiate financing arrangements, lines of credit, and other financial services to support the organization’s needs.


Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a professional services organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain banking relationships.
  • Demonstrates high levels of ambition, competitiveness, and a sense of urgency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a focus on achieving goals efficiently.
  • Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
