This Human Resources Manager role is a managerial position responsible for overseeing the implementation of human resources policies, programs, and practices. This includes strategic planning, organization development, and the coordination of various HR functions. The primary duties involve the formulation of company policies and procedures related to personnel matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an annual review of company policies, procedures, and practices concerning personnel matters, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation to ensure the company's compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the company's adherence to Federal and State legislation related to personnel matters.
  • Effectively communicate changes in company personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the organization.
  • Supervise the management of personnel files, terminations, and other sensitive issues, consulting legal counsel when necessary.
  • Foster positive working relationships with all employees, adhering to company policies and procedures regarding wages, hours, and working conditions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to support them in handling personnel matters.
  • Work in tandem with the Operations Manager to forecast hourly employment needs.
  • Oversee and review annual and semi-annual performance evaluations within the Human Resources Department.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to employees on job-related matters as needed.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary matters.
  • Administer plant safety, environmental, and ergonomics programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Train new associates, assess and acknowledge health and safety performance, and conduct thorough performance appraisals focusing on safety.


Key Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
