Personal Lines Account Manager


Job Description:


  • Responsible for high volume personal lines insurance sales to new customers
  • Answer incoming sales calls and take walk-in business with or without scheduled appointments
  • Gather necessary information to generate quotations for customer application submissions
  • Present and explain insurance coverages to customers
  • Analyze insureds’ current policies and counsel coverages when needed
  • Interface with carrier representatives and customers in order to ensure that all parties receive necessary information in a complete and timely manner to ensure successful sales performance
  • Will report to the Personal Lines Department Manager
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Pennsylvania P&C License required (Resident or Non-Resident)
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of personal lines insurance sales and/or account management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations procedures and applicable insurance laws/codes
  • Proficiency with AMS360 and ImageRight highly desired; may consider experience with other agency management systems
  • Experience and expertise in operating in electronic environment; excellent automation skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, document management software, carrier proprietary systems, and phone systems
  • Must be sales-driven and have the ability to work independently
  • Outgoing personality, with the desire to network and build professional relationships
  • Excellent time management, organizational and verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
  • Keen attention to detail


Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm EST (3 days), 9:00am-6:00pm EST (2 days), and one rotating Saturday per month, 9:00am-1:00pm EST


Office Location: 5910 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown, PA 18106
