Position Overview: Palace Private Members Club is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This role is ideal for a chef with extensive experience in high-volume, luxury food service environments. The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards, managing a diverse menu, and overseeing a dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our business model, a drive for excellence, and the ability to innovate within a fast-paced, high-traffic club setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a motivated kitchen team, ensuring high morale and productivity. Oversee daily operations, staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Menu Development: Create and maintain a diverse, high-quality menu that aligns with Palace’s luxury standards. Innovate with seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food items are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Implement rigorous quality control measures and continuously improve kitchen processes.
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently manage kitchen operations to handle high volume during peak periods, particularly in the evenings and on weekends. Utilize innovative software and serving models to optimize kitchen performance.
- Administrative Duties: Handle all administrative aspects, including inventory management, procurement, cost control, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Third-Party Delivery Management: Oversee and manage third-party delivery operations, including partnerships with services like Uber Eats, to expand the club’s reach and convenience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team and ownership to align the culinary vision with the overall goals of the club. Provide insights and suggestions to enhance member satisfaction.
- Innovation: Continuously seek ways to elevate the dining experience through creative menu offerings, modern cooking techniques, and the use of cutting-edge kitchen technology.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in high-volume, luxury establishments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen team.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, ingredients, and techniques, with a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with modern kitchen management software and point-of-sale systems.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate club peak periods.
