OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:


Our Associate Engineer of Stainless Steel will assist in the creation and maintenance of Stainless-Steel submittal and engineered drawings with the use of Solidworks and CAD. You will be a contributor of all data related activities that support the Sales and Sales Operations organization.




A DAY IN THE LIFE:


  • Creation and revisions of submittal drawings.
  • Creation of production ready drawings once submittals are approved.
  • Maintenance of production ready drawings based on needs of customer or production.
  • Meets with Sales to discuss and provide insight on efficient and cost-effective solutions for customer inquiries.
  • Works with Estimators to ensure manufacturing techniques and materials are aligned with estimates and customer expectations.




WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates in Solidworks and AutoCAD helpful but not required. Work experience is acceptable.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Need the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
