Role Overview: 


The Head/Director of Sales will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling the sales function. This includes leading a remote team of 5 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) while also acting as an individual contributor to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales in a B2B environment, particularly in the BPO or SaaS industries with a focus in HR/Recruiting. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and expand the current team of 5 remote BDRs, ensuring their performance aligns with company goals. Collaborate and work directly with US-based Director of operations. 
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth from $1MM to $10MM in sales, focusing on both one-time and annual recurring revenue. 
  • Business Development: Leverage your network and experience to personally contribute to high-value sales while managing your team. 
  • Sales Strategy: Implement and refine cold email, cold calling, and outreach strategies using tools like HubSpot, Teams, Orum, and Apollo. 
  • Travel & Representation: Find and represent Halo at relevant conferences, in-person meetings, and events, securing high-value leads and expanding the company’s client base. 
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including Private Equity firms and portfolio companies, to generate long-term business. 
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and present insights to executive leadership. 

 

Qualifications: 


  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with direct experience building and managing sales teams. 
  • Proven ability to scale sales in a B2B environment. 
  • Strong background in BPO or SaaS industries, with a focus on recruiting or HR software. 
  • Experience with sales technology and CRM tools, including HubSpot, Teams, Orum, Apollo. 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. 
  • Willingness to travel for conferences and high-value client meetings. 

 

Compensation: 


  • Annual cash compensation expected between $150k and $300k with uncapped bonus. 
  • Equity compensation available.
