Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a senior IT Business Partner Manager/Relationship Manager to join a major global Manufacturing and supply chain company. The Senior Manager, IT Business Partner is the strategic liaison between a business Stakeholder group / Customer Account team, and the rest of the IT organization. In this capacity, the IT Business Partner’s goal is to understand the business strategy for their respective business stakeholder, and define the corresponding roadmap for enabling technology to support the business strategy. When specific initiatives are raised by the Stakeholder, the IT Business Partner will guide the business through the Qualification steps; which involve defining the business and technical requirements, the business benefits needed to prepare a business case with a positive return on investment, align all impacted stakeholders to the intended outcome of the initiative, and guide the business through a new technology evaluation process if required. Once approval is obtained for an initiative to proceed forward, the IT Business Partner acts in the capacity of a Program Manager, overseeing all the in-flight projects for their respective stakeholder group. The IT Business Partner is the escalation point to resolve any issues raised during the course of the project to ensure a successful outcome. The IT Business Partner needs to be well versed in business processes in areas such as; electronics manufacturing and supply chain management, and in various commercial market segments such as Aerospace and Defense, HealthTech and Capital Equipment which have specific regulatory requirements that need to be adhered to.


Must-haves

7-10 years minimum experience in the industry

Ability to handle high stress, customer demands, negotiations

* Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems - what it does, how it supports the manufacturing process to be able to translate to business requirements into technical requirements for an MES system

* Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent themselves and the broader IT team in front of senior executives (both internal and customers)

* Ability to guide other people (who don't report directly to you) to achieve the intended outcome of the project

* Good time management / organization skills to be able to work on multiple initiatives
