Job Description

The individual in this role is responsible for exemplifying exemplary behavior in adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and ensuring their implementation within their designated area. As a pivotal member of the Project Team, the Project Engineer supports cross-functional activities and facilitates interface management to ensure the achievement of overarching project objectives.

Responsibilities


  • Ensure that the assigned projects tasks are well managed as per the Statement Of Requirement (SOR), COMPANY specifications and CONTRACT requirements,
  • Identify/Manage all internal and external interfaces with all parties during project execution
  • Defining, implementing and following up all necessary tools and procedures related to interface Management,
  • Promote a “no change policy” to meet budget and schedule constraint without impairing quality and safety of the EPSCC activities,
  • Manage, communicate and coordinate Project objectives with the project team members during all EPSCC phases,
  • Manage the associated key/milestone dates to meet project schedule related to the package,
  • Responsible to coordinate with the EPSCC Contractor in charge of the related package to ensure smooth execution of Main subcontracts and equipment packages and ensure thorough expediting to de-risk construction schedule,
  • Ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects is considered to enhance project works performance
  • Promote alternatives solutions to reduce and optimize the duration for Construction and Installation
  • Ensure technical coordination with package Manager during all phases of EPSCC,
  • Report, assist and support Package management throughout all EPSCC execution phases,
  • Ensure support to engineering, construction and commissioning teams as required
  • Provide thorough and efficient engineering documentation review, comments and follow-up,
  • Follow-up of internal technical reviews (HAZID / HAZOP / Project reviews, etc.)
  • Manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases


Experience

Education Level / Diploma: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering

Languages: Fluent English (mandatory)

Professional Experience:

- Prodom, ICAPS and OperCom, All relevant codes and standards….

- Large spectrum of skill and competencies in various engineering disciplines and/or in Interface Management

- Available for technical missions worldwide,

- Experience in on-shore facilities and LNG plant/ tank is preferred.


Experience in similar position (years): At least 10 years’ experience at senior level within large multinational taskforce team environment with a minimum 5 years as Project Engineer and/or Interface Management.
