Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Application Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems and enhancing user satisfaction.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, process automation and software development, along with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, design, and develop custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to meet business requirements.
- Integrate PowerApps solutions with various data sources, including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs.
- Develop workflows and automation using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to streamline business processes
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and user experience. Deploy solutions to production environments following best practices
- Investigate and troubleshoot application issues reported by users, identify root causes, and implement solutions promptly.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance of the applications.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance process for new application releases.
- Create and maintain user documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, HTML5, and CSS.
Familiarity with SQL and database management.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
