Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Application Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, and develop custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to meet business requirements.
  • Integrate PowerApps solutions with various data sources, including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs.
  • Develop workflows and automation using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to streamline business processes
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and user experience. Deploy solutions to production environments following best practices
  • Investigate and troubleshoot application issues reported by users, identify root causes, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance of the applications.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Participate in the testing and quality assurance process for new application releases.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and training materials.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate.

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.

Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, HTML5, and CSS.

Familiarity with SQL and database management.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
