Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Engineer II. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing the quality of software systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and facilitating risk management processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of software verification and validation processes in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standards for software systems quality, including methods, processes, and procedures.
- Evaluate software systems activities, including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
- Define and implement measures to ensure product quality, aligned with project and contractual requirements.
- Review software systems design, change specifications, and plans to ensure compliance with contractual and/or process requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, including the identification of hazards, estimation of risks, and evaluation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure traceability and testability of software system requirements through verification and validation processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, particularly in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and the ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
- Expertise in software verification and validation processes, including traceability and testability.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work onsite in Santa Rosa, CA, as required by project needs.
