R&D System Quality Engineer

A prominent technology firm is seeking an Inside R&D System Quality Engineer. The selected individual will concentrate on essential elements of software deployment, system evaluation, and quality assurance. The perfect candidate should possess two to four years of pertinent experience in software testing and validation. The organization promotes a family-friendly culture and work environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $70/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team to develop an integrated software and hardware system designed for the assessment and testing of intricate electromagnetic spectrum components and systems.
  • Oversee critical components of software deployment, system evaluation, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in software testing and validation.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related engineering field.
  • Familiarity with DEVOPS tools and systems.
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) in Python and Matlab is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Chocolatey, and Docker is advantageous.
  • Focus on software development for automated testing.
  • Capability to create analysis plans and automated testing processes.
  • Proficiency in high-level object-oriented programming languages such as C# or C++.
  • Self-motivated and eager to quickly grasp new applications and technologies.
  • Understanding of measurement instruments (Sources, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with dynamic force-level simulations or detailed single system simulations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic signal generation (e.g., RADAR, Communications) is preferred.
  • Experience with C# development in Visual Studio is a plus.
  • Skills in build automation, including Jenkins integration, Cmd, and Bash shell scripting are desirable.
