Salary: $110k - $120k + bonus
Location: Newark, NJ
Summary:
Oversee environmental, health and safety (EHS) performance within assigned facilities. Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to prevent injuries and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with corporate EHS to align facility initiatives with company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead EHS initiatives, including safety campaigns, audits, and training.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with operations to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
- Provide EHS guidance and support to facility management.
- Manage EHS budget and resources.
- Foster a strong safety culture within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety & Health preferred, or years experience in a manufacturing environment
