Position Summary:

Arsenal Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant II with a strong background in general accounting functions who is also willing to gain or expand knowledge of Oil and Gas accounting.

Full-time hybrid schedule to include work in the Company’s Wexford, PA office.


Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Prepare entries to assist with month end close process

·        Complete monthly account reconciliations to assure accuracy of ledger

·        Calculation and entry of monthly operated revenue distribution

·        Processing of revenue payments as well as support for land and AP payment processing

·        Prepare annual property tax filing and track related accruals and payments

·        Monthly severance tax filing and payment processing

·        Maintenance of vendors and select master files within ERP

·        Assist with financial reporting

·        Compiling data for other regular reporting requirements

·        Other duties and projects as assigned by Controller


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements):

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

·        5 plus years prior accounting experience

·        Microsoft Office programs including intermediate or advanced Excel knowledge

·        Enertia knowledge preferred

·        Oil and Gas accounting experience preferred

·        Must be able to interact with all levels of employees within organization including Executive Management. Must also be able to interact with vendors and other members within the industry.

·        Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk, ability to bend over and reach above head, ability to lift under 20 pounds, ability to view computer screen for extended periods of time, and ability to type on a keyboard.
