Pride Health is hiring an Echo Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Milford, Delaware. This is a permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of echocardiogram studies including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress, and pharmacological echocardiography, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging as ordered by physicians.
  • Execute cardiac diagnostic tests such as EKGs, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress tests with precision, adhering to standardized protocols for both preparation and analysis.
  • Utilize specialized cardiac diagnostic equipment, including echocardiography, cardiac stress systems, and electrocardiographs, to deliver detailed diagnostic data for physicians, ensuring optimal functionality and accuracy in all devices used.
  • Manage scheduling and billing processes by effectively navigating hospital information systems, ensuring all diagnostic tests are correctly documented and charged for timely and accurate patient care services.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols by applying aseptic techniques and maintaining rigorous standards for equipment disinfection, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and ensuring patient safety.


Qualifications:

  • Education High School Diploma or GED
  • Education Certificate Program Cardiovascular Sonography
  • Credential Basic Life Support
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer
  • Over 2 years of experience


Additional Information:

  • Location: Milford, Delaware
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Schedule: 5x8 rotating 1st and 2nd
  • Pay Range: $ 66.00 to 100.00/hour.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
