Position Summary:

The Sales Support Specialist provides integral support to the MedPro Sales Team. The team member is responsible for processing new sales leads, trade conference & internal MedPro event support, internal administrative onboarding of new clients and renewals for existing accounts, and assistance with the company’s Marketing efforts. This role will report to the Senior Director of Business Development & Partnerships and will work in our Mount Arlington, New Jersey location.


Work Expectations

  • Full-time: 40 Hours per week; Exempt Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales Team resources by providing support, information, and guidance throughout sales cycles.
  • Process inbound leads and opportunities from MedPro website visitors and partners.
  • Responsible for new client, renewal, and cancellation notifications, Salesforce.com (SFDC) data entry and sending deal notifications to external partners like Concur for new clients and renewals.
  • Facilitate the management of team calendars and meeting coordination, , scan and file contracts and legal documents, and assist with SFDC data entry and processing.
  • Planning and coordination of trade conferences that MedPro attends – logistics for team member travel & exhibit materials, vendor coordination and onsite support at conference
  • Create and maintain SOPs for internal Sales Support processes; identify new opportunities for improvement
  • Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills, possess the ability to work independently and have a desire for continuous learning.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, highly organized with great attention to detail, self-disciplined with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.


Education/Certification

  • Bachelors Degree required in any discipline with strong academic success in business, management and marketing coursework.

Candidates must be within 50 miles of MedPro offices for targeted in-office days
