SUMMARY: Software Engineer, Senior to independently analyze the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identify alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources and modern hardware solutions.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

·Participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting operating systems and software.

·Develop and review architectures, component functional allocation and flows, interfaces, system processing and performance for Systems Planning & Analysis (AN/SPA) systems.

·Develop descriptions and data flows of proposed systems and perform requirement analysis.

·Develop radar distribution towards a fully realized digital software-based version where all functions can be hosted in a compute virtualized and containerized environment.

·Assist with the network development within a radar distribution system to increase capabilities and to maintain cybersecurity requirements besides validation.

·Develop Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software-based radar display video capabilities towards a virtualized and containerized solution.

·Experience in the development of Naval combat systems, including definition, functional allocation, design development, testing, integration, and operational deployment.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

·Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer/software engineering, computer science, math, physics, or related scientific discipline.

·Ten (10) + years of professional experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic and/or other object oriented languages.

·Demonstrate software development using one or more of these languages under the Unix, Windows, Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating systems.

·Algorithm development experience with software development skills, a background in coding and analyzing algorithms, experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

·Advanced knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).
