Job Summary:

The Process Improvement Manager must enhance manufacturing processes by leading design and implementation of improvements, ensuring safety, and supporting quality systems. Utilize Lean and 6-Sigma tools to optimize processes and reduce waste. Provide technical documentation, train staff, and assist with project management and maintenance tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The Process Improvement Manager must optimize equipment function and quality processes.
  • Lead teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Develop safety protocols and process documentation.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures.
  • The Process Improvement Manager must train staff in process and set-up procedures.
  • Apply Lean and 6-Sigma tools to minimize waste and variation.
  • Support corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
  • Develop and refine quality systems and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • The Process Improvement Manager must document project details including ROI, cost analysis, and justifications.
  • Manage purchase requests and process improvements using DMAIC.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and support maintenance activities.


Qualifications:

  • The Process Improvement Manager must hold a degree preferably in Engineering
  • Must have experience in high-volume manufacturing and process development for 5 years.
  • Must have 2+ years of Supervisory experience in overseeing Quality Assurance and Technical Engineering teams.
  • 6-Sigma Green Belt preferred, proficient in Lean concepts.
  • The Process Improvement Manager must have hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, technical writing, and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using 6-Sigma tools; experience with ERP systems and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • The Process Improvement Manager must occasionally travel
