We are seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to provide strategic HR support to our outstanding client in the Syracuse, NY area. This role involves developing and executing a talent strategy aligned with business goals, leveraging HR Operations and Talent Management teams for success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Advise on organizational effectiveness, development, coaching, and talent management.
  • Lead HR transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and recommend solutions in staffing, employee communication, talent development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Support business growth through succession planning and talent readiness.
  • Ensure effective organizational design and staffing models.
  • Partner with business leaders for talent reviews, organizational reviews, career development, performance reviews, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to strategize for current and future talent needs.
  • Manage key HR projects and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Proven track record in HR leadership and/or HRBP roles.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in HR strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in geographically dispersed and matrix organizational structures.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong coaching, consulting, and facilitation abilities.
  • Leadership experience with project teams and change management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday.
  • U.S. citizenship required; applicants may be subject to a government security investigation.
  • Pre-employment drug screening required.
