Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive strategic growth and lead our talented sales team to new heights. With a goal of achieving 30% year-over-year growth, this role is pivotal in expanding our direct-to-consumer and distributor sales channels across the U.S. The Sales Manager will manage five sales representatives and one customer success representative while reporting directly to the General Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans with oversight from the General Manager.
  • Drive revenue growth across direct-to-consumer and distributor channels, achieving a 30% annual increase.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of five sales reps and one customer success rep.
  • Focus on performance improvement and skill development for new hires, fostering a high-performing team culture.

Sales Execution:

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress toward targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, driving growth within these channels.

Customer Success:

  • Support post-sales excellence by collaborating with the Customer Success Representative to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

Travel:

  • Represent the company at trade shows, distributor events, and client meetings with up to 25% - 50% travel across the U.S.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience, with proven success in material handling or a related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team, with a focus on mentoring and performance improvement.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, with the vision to achieve ambitious growth goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
