Reports To: Senior Manager, Core Services

Work Model: This is a hybrid position, which is on site Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and remote on Thursday and Friday, with occasional travel to our Ohio or Mexico plants, based on projects.


Position Summary

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and network infrastructure? As a Network Security Administrator, you'll design, implement, and manage secure network architectures to protect company systems from cyber threats. Your role will include monitoring network performance, conducting risk assessments, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and protocols. This position offers opportunities to work on cutting-edge security solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cybersecurity Defense: Monitor, assess, and respond to cyber threats to protect company data and systems.
  • Network Management: Design, install, and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security alerts, document incidents, and recommend resolutions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead initiatives to upgrade and improve network infrastructure with secure and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with Core Services and IT Management to address network vulnerabilities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain instructions and reports for IT procedures and configurations.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for urgent cybersecurity support.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in IT with combined experience in systems, network, and security administration.
  • 3+ years focused specifically on cybersecurity.
  • Certifications: Network+, Security+, CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in network security, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with VMWare, SolarWinds, PowerShell, and Cisco Meraki.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for network and cybersecurity incidents.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Remote Work: Work primarily from home in the Nashville, TN area with occasional on-site requirements for meetings or projects.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional stooping, crawling, and kneeling.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Mexico may be required.
