Position: Events Coordinator- Temporary MAT Leave Coverage

Duration: January 2025 - June 2025

Location: Hybrid (on-site every Thursday)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $22/hr

Duties:

  • Coordinate logistics for events, including accommodation, transportation, facilities, catering, signage, and event security.
  • Support planning and implementation of events and programs.
  • Arrange and prepare location facilities, contracts, insurance, transportation, meals, excursions, and travel itineraries for trips and corporate projects.
  • Assist in developing and implementing event ideas, including artistic contributions for major staff events.
  • Liaise across departments to develop and implement programs, projects, and events.
  • Maintain positive working relationships across all departments.
  • Track and create special events reports and submit them to management.
  • Participate in team meetings and propose improvements to processes.
  • Provide support to the special events department and assist with requests and questions regarding events.
  • Maintain and update employee data in organization systems and personnel files.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Corporate or Special Events.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional business setting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
