Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and adjust key boiler parameters, including pressure, flow, and levels, to ensure optimal performance.

· Focus on energy management by optimizing boiler efficiency, tracking fuel consumption, and improving condensate recovery.

· Perform water chemistry testing and manage water treatment programs.

· Execute performance adjustments for high-pressure (power) and low-pressure (heating) boilers to meet plant demands.

· Conduct interlock testing, including flame scanners and low water cutoffs.

· Maintain and monitor accessory systems such as feedwater, air systems, generators, fire protection, and cooling towers.

· Supervise the start-up and isolation procedures for steam turbine/generators.

· Analyze and ensure that steam and gas turbine performance meets strict safety and tolerance standards.

· Monitor air emissions and wastewater, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations through testing and reporting.

· Implement and review safety protocols, including lock-out tag-out procedures and safe work permits.

· Manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

· Lead emergency response operations for boiler rooms and related plant systems.

· Oversee critical supply resources and inventory management for both planned and unplanned outages.


Qualifications:

· Valid Philadelphia Engineer Grade A License.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience with high-pressure boilers and electric generation systems.

· Legal authorization to work in the United States.

· Ability to meet all physical and pre-employment screening requirements.

· Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for overtime.

Operations are 5 x 24 hours – Rotating shift however team works out their hours equitably and with great flexibility
