Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States MWResource, Inc. Full time
Job Overview

Position: Entry-Level or Junior Power Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid

MWResource, Inc. is a leading provider of resources for the utility electric power sector, dedicated to assisting clients in managing intricate systems. Our rapid growth reflects the high demand for skilled professionals in this field, and we are committed to fostering new talent.

We are currently seeking motivated entry-level or junior engineers specializing in SCADA/EMS/DMS (Utility Power Grid Energy Management Systems and Distribution Management Systems) to collaborate with our esteemed clients across North America.

Most roles are structured as full-time positions, integrated within the customer's EMS teams, requiring in-office attendance approximately twice a week.

This program is designed to introduce new engineers to a high-demand, technologically advanced sector of the industry, with numerous success stories from past participants.

While experience with SCADA, power system modeling, display construction, and power system analysis software is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. We particularly encourage candidates with degrees in Electrical Engineering, especially those focusing on Power Systems, to apply.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected.
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems is preferred.
  • Experience in power flow studies or EMS is a plus.
  • Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not available.

MWResource, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and will undergo a background check and drug screening.

Employee Benefits

MWResource offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and participation in the MWResource 401K plan for eligible consultants.
