With a comprehensive national network of service professionals, we deliver engineering, installation, and maintenance management for power equipment, encompassing backup batteries, UPS systems, generators, energy storage, microgrids, forklift power, and onsite maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, establishment, and ongoing updates of project schedules for assigned initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation flow between Concentric and its clients.
  • Conduct site evaluations for sales quotations and pre/post-job assessments.
  • Analyze customer specifications and bid documents, issuing change orders as necessary.
  • Demonstrate expertise in contingency planning.
  • Assist with order entry and provide support to the customer service team.
  • Develop, distribute, and ensure adherence to project safety plans in compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain a prioritized action item list for projects.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of as-built conditions and punch lists.
  • Monitor, report, and manage costs for assigned projects, maintaining alignment with estimated project margins.
  • Oversee gross profit and other key performance indicators on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Report, forecast, and present financial project activities to Concentric management.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize material and service margins.
  • Provide market insights to the Critical Power management team to reinforce Concentric's position as an industry leader.
  • Effectively manage business expenses in accordance with company policies.

Performance Metrics

  • Revenue, expenses, and gross profit against budget.
  • Schedule adherence compared to forecasts/plans.
  • Safety performance ratings.
  • Accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Statements of Work (SOW).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in field service, project management, or proposal generation related to critical power distribution systems, along with a high school diploma.
  • In-depth knowledge of Telcordia standards, particularly GR1275 and GR513.
  • At least 10 years of experience in DC Power within the telecommunications sector, whether in fieldwork or engineering roles.
  • Exceptional communication and motivational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage personal workload with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude for collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and addressing varied needs.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining strong workplace relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with ERP process flows.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and/or Visio.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a TWIC card.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

The role may require the employee to perform various physical tasks, including standing or sitting for extended periods, using hands for typing and handling equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment may include customer facilities, office spaces, and other locations, often requiring adherence to safety protocols due to the presence of high voltage systems.
