We are seeking a Commercial Retail Property Manager to join our team in Metro Detroit. Properties

Eight (8) neighborhood retail shopping centers primarily located in the tri-county Detroit area.

25 additional properties consisting of either vacant land or single tenant properties.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid accounting experience/background in AP/AR, Yardi Breeze, and Microsoft Office

Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Strong problem solving, planning and decision-making skills.
  • Takes initiative and is detailed orientated.
  • Effectively communicates with the team, tenants, contractors, brokers, banks, and partners.
  • Proven analytical abilities and capabilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task.


Primary Responsibilities

Working with outside brokers to develop and execute marketing plans and direct sales, which acquire news tenants and sales of commercial properties.

Assist 3rd party brokers with negotiating leases for multi-tenant shopping centers.

Primarily responsible for the property maintenance for properties.

Property maintenance contract negotiation and coordination.

Day-to-day front line tenant support of tenant’s requests for maintenance and account issues.

Collaboration with management to design payment plans for delinquent tenants.

Maintaining/set-up of leases in Yardi Breeze Property Management System and updating information into excel rent roll worksheets.

Collect monthly rents from tenants.

Manage checkbooks including check writing for the properties.

Oversee construction/repair compliance issues related to properly insured contractors and tenants.

Manage construction projects for tenant build outs.

Other items when necessary.

Solid accounting background in AP/AR, SAGE100, SAGE300, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) collections, office management, research, resulting in an efficient office environment, and pleasant working conditions.

Ability to work on multiple projects with little supervision.

Other duties as assigned.
