Are you an experienced professional in the mortgage industry looking to join a successful and client-focused team? The Post Closing Manager will lead and manage the Post Closing department by ensuring the completion of all departmental tasks. This includes generating regular reports to ensure departmental tasks and metrics are being achieved in a timely and accurate manner. Position: Post Closing Manager

Location: Mesa, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire post-closing process to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
  • Manage the final document process, ensuring all closing documents for each file are collected and compliant with investor and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with title companies, loan officers, and processors to resolve any outstanding post-closing issues promptly.
  • Monitor the delivery of loans to investors and ensure compliance with all salability requirements.
  • Manage the Insuring of all government loans.
  • Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to improve the overall efficiency and accuracy of the post-closing department.
  • Train, mentor, and lead the post-closing team to achieve departmental goals and support professional development.
  • Develop and update post-closing policies and procedures to align with industry changes and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with investors to manage post-closing audits and resolve any discrepancies or inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a seamless transition of loan files through the closing process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with significant experience in post-closing operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations and investor guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
