The Project Manager – Mergers and Acquisitions (Healthcare) at HealthyU will lead and coordinate the project management efforts related to the integration and transition of acquisitions within the healthcare sector. This role demands exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills to effectively manage the complexities of merging healthcare entities and ensure a seamless post-acquisition handoff.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, organize, and manage comprehensive project plans for acquisition activities, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and successfully manage the integration of all acquisitions focusing on effective organization and execution of system, process, and a smooth integration.
  • Facilitate robust cross-departmental collaboration with Business Development, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and IT teams to ensure all aspects of the acquisitions process are addressed.
  • Use strong communication skills to bridge gaps between departments, ensuring all parties are aligned and informed throughout the integration process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all acquisitions project-related communications, ensuring clear and effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the integration process with a focus on clear and organized problem-solving.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to identify potential risks and issues related to the acquisitions, ensuring well-organized risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address identified risks, ensuring a systematic approach to risk management.
  • Track and report project performance against goals and objectives, providing regular and organized updates to senior management.
  • Adhere to and manage change management strategies to support the successful integration of new acquisitions.
  • Foster a positive environment during transitions to ensure employee engagement and minimize disruptions, focusing on effective communication and organization.
  • Develop and execute a detailed plan for a smooth handoff post-acquisition, ensuring all processes and responsibilities are clearly transferred and understood.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure continuity and address any emerging issues or gaps post-acquisition.
  • Provide support and oversight to ensure a seamless transition and integration of acquired entities into HealthyU’s operations. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to facilitate the integration of newly acquired entity, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being able to prioritize key items and deliver results within designated timelines
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, summarizing project statues, risks, and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mergers and/or acquisitions required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proficient in managing multiple timelines, projects and priorities.

Physical Requirements:?

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
