We are seeking an authentic and talented Plant Manager to oversee a food manufacturing facility in the Bronx This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management to optimize productivity, drive continuous improvement, and foster innovation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in managing plant operations, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Reporting to a well-liked and caring leader, this Plant Manager will be accountable for the financial performance, food quality and safety, production efficiency, and human safety.
The ideal person will have:
- 7+ years’ experience in plant operations: procurement, production, packaging, maintenance, planning, and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA requirements.
- Manage the P&L statement with a focus on profitability and financial performance.
- Develop and lead a Lean Manufacturing culture to minimize waste and costs.
- Lead by example, creating accountability and supporting the team.
- Ability to be onsite in the Bronx, NY or have desire to relocate.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
