Position Summary:

The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes while adhering to safety, food quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves managing plant costs, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a positive work culture, all while collaborating with various departments to achieve business goals.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage plant operations, including production, sanitation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, food quality, and GMP standards.
  • Oversee plant costs and key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive employee culture and manage talent development.
  • Develop and manage budgets, partnering with finance and other departments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (business management/administration, engineering, operations, or food science - preferred)
  • 7-10 years of related experience in food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
