Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast and analyze sales across Amazon, Walmart, and B2B platforms, with a focus on planning for major events like Prime Day and Cyber Monday.
- Develop and refine forecasting models to enhance accuracy and reduce manual adjustments.
- Collaborate with upstream business teams to improve data inputs impacting forecast accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with program teams to support new business initiatives and product launches with precise forecasting.
- Lead strategic discussions with leadership, highlighting gaps in current processes and recommending improvements.
- Dive deep into forecast variances to understand root causes and present findings in business reviews.
- Partner with finance teams for monthly and quarterly financial reporting, narrating the business story behind forecast variances.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create compelling presentations and reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of category initiatives.
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about market dynamics and influence strategic decisions.
- Manage FBA inventory, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and timely issue resolution.
- Create and manage inbound shipments to Amazon to ensure stock levels are maintained and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams or external professionals on sales and marketing tasks.
- Stay updated on Amazon's policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance with FBA and SFP requirements.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in eCommerce and marketplace management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, data science, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
- 3+ years of experience managing stakeholders in cross-functional projects.
- Proven ability to define program requirements and use data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience driving process improvements.
- Experience with data modeling or programming languages such as SQL, R, and/or Python. Intermediate-to-Advanced level modeling or programming skills are highly preferred.
