The E-Commerce Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and ongoing success of our online stores, for both DTC and B2B. This individual will be data-driven, analytical, and responsible for managing the daily operations of our online store. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects that drive traffic, enhance user experience, and maximize conversions. This person will be eager to take on diverse responsibilities and grow with us, adapting to new challenges and opportunities as they arise. The position supports all three entities housed within the Gracie University building: Gracie University of Jiu-Jitsu, Quikflip Apparel, and Sleeper Hold.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the online store, including adding and updating product listings with accurate descriptions, images, and pricing; building out and scheduling promotions; managing the wholesale product catalog; creating blog posts; and troubleshooting issues escalated by Customer Support.
- Perform regular reviews of all website copy, including - but not limited to - product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages, to ensure that they adhere to search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
- Implement and optimize on-site conversion tactics such as A/B testing, UX enhancements, pre- and post-purchase upsells, and checkout optimization to increase conversion rates and average order value.
- Develop and execute online marketing campaigns across various channels like social media, email, and SEO in coordination with other members of the e-commerce team, the in-house creative team, and partner marketing agencies.
- Creating content marketing strategies to attract and engage potential customers.
- Participate in the development and oversight of paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google and Meta to drive traffic and revenue.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools (GA4, Shopify, etc) along with customer feedback to generate reports that provide actionable insights, address customer pain points, and improve overall performance of the business.
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Director on product development by pulling reports to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with other departments to optimize the customer support experience across the end-to-end process and resolve any issues that may arise during handoffs.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Ultracart, Magento, etc.).
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
- Experience in integrating ERP, CRM, or other backend systems with e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of online merchandising, digital advertising, and web analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and time management skills.
- Team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
