Overview:

Sigma Training Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Project Manager to oversee the execution of a contract with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), focusing on gender-responsive practices and policy development. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables, managing project timelines, and maintaining budgetary control throughout the contract period.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, execution, and management to ensure all deliverables meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), trainers, and the Sigma team to ensure project goals are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs, both on-site and virtually.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.



Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, public administration, criminal justice).
  • Proven experience managing government contracts or similar projects, preferably in corrections or gender-responsive policy.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with corrections, gender-responsive practices, or similar fields is preferred.
  • Experience in budget management and contract compliance.
  • Ability to work part-time with flexible hours, ensuring project milestones are met.



Contract Duration:

This is a part-time, project-based contract through June 30, 2027.
