Job Description:

PSM is seeking a Business Development/Sales professional with a proven track record in the information technology and services sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for nurturing and broadening relationships with key decision-makers across our clients' hierarchies. Your keen ability to identify prospects and effectively position PSM’s IT Staff Augmentation Services will be crucial to your success. With a strong customer-centric approach and adept strategic account management skills, you will guide your interactions. Additionally, you will communicate client requirements to our internal teams, aid in talent acquisition, assess recommended consultants, and provide valuable feedback. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence our clients' experiences, contribute to our growth trajectory, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional outcomes.


Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets by securing new business within Mid to Large Organizations inside IT Staff Augmentation Services that align with PSM’s practices.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of PSM’s methodologies, case studies, and partnerships, and effectively communicate unique positioning to all levels of management.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to target and penetrate new markets.
  • Manage the entire business development cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to engage with business communities to promote PSM and foster business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with prospective clients to understand and prioritize their Staffing needs.
  • Provide detailed requirements and information to internal teams.
  • Present qualified candidates to clients and oversee the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM database.


Competencies, Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with the local business landscape.
  • Expertise in developing IT Staff Augmentation business, paired with exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record in generating business for IT Staff Augmentation opportunities.
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers within organizations, articulate a compelling case for partnering with PSM, and close deals through superior customer service.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of management and navigate negotiations in both entrepreneurial and mid to large-scale organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
