Details

Position Type: Temporary

Worksite Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Location: Loop

Rate: $40/hr.-$45/hr.


Duties:

  • Act as primary daily contact for all clients and investment managers trading derivative products.
  • Estimate the daily gain/loss on futures contracts (market- to-market)
  • Reconcile collateral balance with brokers on a daily and monthly basis
  • Perform daily activities related to Initial Margin and Variation Margin
  • Collaborate with Derivative Portfolio Managements and Derivative Trading teams to support end-to-end trade processing
  • Perform authentication of new trades, settlement of collateral, and settlement of derivative payments
  • Monitor market trends and changes in derivatives regulations
  • Perform data management functions to ensure appropriate flow of data


Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of derivatives experience in a Banking environment is required
  • Experience of using GMI back-office software is preferred
  • Operations and financial services knowledge is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Able to execute day-to-day activities to a high standard, with analytical ability and attention to detail.
