Customer Account Specialist

Our client is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to support their global business divisions in managing and maintaining customer data. As an essential part of the order-to-cash cycle, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to seamless business operations.


This role is onsite in Westminster, Colorado.


Customer Account Specialist Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain accurate global customer records, including contact details, billing, and shipping addresses.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or duplications in customer data systems.
  • Recommend improvements to existing data validation processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to gather and validate customer information.
  • Ensure all customer data management complies with company policies and localization requirements related to data privacy.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex data issues to team leadership for resolution.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals by addressing concerns promptly and contributing to a positive customer experience.
  • Process basic account merges according to guidelines, obtaining appropriate approvals.
  • Assist with testing and implementation of system enhancements related to customer master data management.


Customer Account Specialist Qualifications

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Quick learner with a detail-oriented mindset, while considering the bigger picture.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer data management or a similar role, with customer service and data entry experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data trends and patterns.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.


Compensation: $16-$18/hr. (DOE)Benefits

Benefits are available to eligible VanderHouwen contractors and include coverage for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, and matching 401k.
