The Bilingual Recruiter and Outreach Specialist role will effectively balance recruiting and outreach initiatives within our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. You will assist with our recruiting efforts and lead outreach initiatives to attract top talent. Key Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition:


  • Recruiting for Frontline Positions: Focus on hiring for hourly, non-exempt roles.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Define job requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Proficiency: Stay proficient in the ATS and ensure candidate status updates are accurate. Post jobs and screen candidates from various channels.
  • Interview Coordination: Assist hiring managers in scheduling interviews and assessments.
  • Onboarding Support: Initiate background and reference checks, manage candidate information, and communicate through company channels such as phone, ATS, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Offer Letter and Pre-employment Coordination: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing and submitting HR hiring documents.
  • Administrative Support: Keep job descriptions up to date and uniform with company format, collaborate with the TA team to ensure all jobs have updated screening questions, and document and update TA processes and procedures.
  • KPI Tracking: Assist with tracking recruitment KPIs and relevant data points to drive continuous improvement.


Recruiting Outreach:

  • Job Posting Maintenance: Assist with managing job postings through ATS and relevant recruitment channels.
  • Interview Scheduling: Coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and panels.
  • Candidate Communication: Handle initial communication, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Sourcing Support: Provide support for the TA team in identifying and engaging candidates.
  • Bilingual Support: Offer TA support in both English and Spanish.
  • Outreach Campaigns: Partner with the TA and Marketing Team to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to attract diverse talent.
  • DEI Initiatives: Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, including sourcing and engaging underrepresented candidates.
  • Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and participate in job fairs and recruiting events to maximize company exposure and gain candidate opportunities (e.g., community hiring events, school partnerships/hiring programs, church job fairs, etc.). Identify opportunities for the TA Team to participate in and attend both in person and virtually.
  • Feedback Collection: Ensure feedback from hiring managers, candidates, and new hires is collected and reported to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Records Management: Maintain and update records in our ATS.
  • Offer Letters and Documentation: Assist with preparing offer letters and new hire documentation.
  • Presentations and Speaking: Assist with presentations and be comfortable speaking to leaders and groups. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and public speaking is preferred.
  • Additional Duties and Ad-Hoc Projects: Support HR and recruitment projects as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is a plus).
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance; must use own car for local travel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative or coordinator experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience focusing on frontline (hourly, non-exempt) positions, preferred.
  • Relevant working experience in an HR or Operations function, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable with public speaking and making presentations to leadership and groups.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Prior experience in a talent acquisition or HR role is a plus but not required.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow in the HR field.

Work Environment:

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires regular attendance at job fairs and hiring events. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. When attending job fairs and hiring events, the employee may occasionally be exposed to varying environmental conditions, such as outdoor weather. The noise level in the office is typically low, but can be higher at event sites.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard working hours are 8 hours per day during normal business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work required for attending job fairs or hiring events.
