Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the healthcare IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects related to healthcare information technology, with a particular emphasis on Epic Systems implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale healthcare IT projects, with a focus on Epic Systems implementations.
  • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT professionals, clinical staff, and external vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion and post-implementation support.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare IT projects.
  • Proven experience managing Epic Systems implementations is highly preferred.
  • Experience implementing Epic's Cellular Therapy Feature set is a plus.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of healthcare IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
