Customer Service/Outreach Communications Specialist Job Responsibilities:


  • Assist Outreach Manager at County Center or the Elections Service Center
  • Provide voter registration instructions and informational material at offsite outreach events (must have reliable transportation)
  • Answer questions and share voting and elections information with the public
  • Refrain from any comments or discussion concerning a voter, a voter's party preference, a candidate, or issue, while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections
  • Other duties as required


What will you need as a Customer Service/Outreach Communications Specialist?


  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively and represent the office in public venues
  • Ability to remain nonpartisan while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than seven points
