About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Azure IoT Hub Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying secure and scalable IoT solutions leveraging Azure IoT Hub. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their IoT needs and translate them into robust and efficient cloud-based architectures.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and scalable IoT solutions using Azure IoT Hub.
  • Configure and manage Azure IoT Hub instances, including device provisioning, security settings, and message routing.
  • Develop and maintain device management solutions for monitoring device health, sending commands, and performing remote updates.
  • Integrate Azure IoT Hub with other Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Stream Analytics, Machine Learning) to build end-to-end IoT pipelines.
  • Develop and implement data ingestion strategies for real-time and historical data collected from IoT devices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure IoT Hub deployments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Azure IoT and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with developers and other engineers to integrate IoT solutions with existing systems.
  • Document and maintain clear technical specifications for developed solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure IoT Hub features and functionalities.
  • Experience with device provisioning protocols (e.g., MQTT, AMQP).
  • Experience with data ingestion and processing techniques for IoT data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for IoT development (e.g., C#, Python).
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices for securing IoT deployments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
