IT Project Coordinator

12-month contract with long-term opportunity, Hybrid 60/40 (Onsite/Remote)


What we are looking for in an IT Project Coordinator


Partner with the IT Project Manager to gathering IT requirements from the initial phase of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) through end of Design phase.


Create and Maintain detailed IT equipment’s requirements with key information like deployment locations (building, floor, room, station), new or reuse of equipment (including location of current location and mapping to proposed location), all components that make up a workstation, vendor / models, and more.


Manage procurement of IT equipment, create requisitions and monitor through approved purchase order. Track ship dates, shipping, and delivery of all IT equipment. Review delivery and confirm all components have been received and accounted for. Continuously update IT equipment list with most current information.


Partner with IT Project manager and IT Technical Project Manager on storage options for the incoming equipment and staging areas for the technical teams. Continuous partnership on what IT equipment will be required and when, to ensure build of components with partnering IT teams and delivery to jobsite will meet the project milestones.


Knowledge and experience with Project Management Life Cycle (Initiate, Plan & Organize, Design [Schematic and Detail], Implement and Close) and related project artifacts.


Project Artifacts are maintained and posted on Project SharePoint site. Partner with IT Project Manager ensuring that all project artifacts are the most current working version and in their appropriate folders.


Partner with IT Project Manager to capture meeting minutes within project OneNote, action items and assisting with the Risks and Issues log on SharePoint.


Strong knowledge and experience with Construction

  • Understand how things are built from the ground up and understand the vision at the end of the construction.
  • Ability to read blueprints, and markup for deployment placements using a PDF viewer like Bluebeam.

Required Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrate technical competence
  • Minimum of three (3) years managing complex information technology infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.


Nice to Have Experience:

  • Healthcare experience, healthcare technology support, implementation experience, and or healthcare systems
  • Blueprints


Reporting Structure

The IT Project Coordinator will report to the IT Facilities Expansion and Innovation Manager


On Site / Remote Work

Minimum 60/40 split with additional time onsite for information gathering, box walks, walk throughs, implementation and go live activities and support.
