What to Expect

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing our supply chain processes, from procurement of raw materials to the delivery of finished products. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee production planning to ensure seamless coordination between supply chain activities and production schedules.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
  • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and performance
  • Oversee production planning processes to ensure accurate and efficient production schedules coordinating closely with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing needs



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
