Position Overview: The Site Development Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects related to site development. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of construction processes. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for site development projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize project designs and specifications.
  • Obtain and manage necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations and codes.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services.

Project Execution:

  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays and making necessary adjustments to stay on schedule.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, including timelines, budgets, and milestones.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

Project Closeout:

  • Oversee the final inspection and ensure all work is completed to satisfaction.
  • Manage the completion of all project documentation and closeout procedures.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in site development project management, preferably with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) is a plus.
