In-House Counsel

A growing real estate company in Orange County is looking to add a transactional attorney to their staff.
This in-house attorney will focus on contracts: drafting, negotiating, and redlining. The agreements will range from supplier, service provider, and IT/tech agreements. The attorney will also advise on real estate disputes related to eminent domain and property management issues.
Keys/Must haves:
1. 4+ years’ of experience handling real estate law (and/or equity transactions) - either in-house or at a notable law firm.
2. Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and transaction documents
3. Experience with real estate debt and/or equity transactions
Details of Role:
• Hours: Roughly 8am to 5pm. There could be some flexibility on start/end time, but should be general business hours. Minus certain busy seasons, crazy OT is not the norm.
• Profile that would be a fit:
o Professional service mindset, do-it-all mentality (not someone who says “that is not in my job description”)
o Someone who believes in the benefits of AI and technology (not someone who fights it)
