The Opportunity:

We’re excited to find the right Commercial Counsel to join us The VeSync Legal Team provides key support in all aspects of our business. In your role, you will help our business teams explore new partnerships, scale up our operations, and launch new products. VeSync is growing rapidly and is looking for an individual who loves to work in a dynamic, energized, collaborative, and fast-paced environment to join the team. The following describes the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

What you will do at VeSync:

• Review, structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of agreements including procurement contracts, professional services agreements, vendor agreements, software agreements, influencer agreements), both independently and in collaboration with the other Corporate Counsels.
• Assist with developing strategies on contract negotiation, fallback positions, and acceptable terms and conditions.
• Advise on complex commercial legal issues, including those related to import/export, logistics, finance, employment, SaaS, pricing and distribution.
• Work with internal teams to improve processes, controls and create efficiencies.
• Develop and conduct training to educate internal stakeholders on contract drafting, negotiations, commercial implications, and risks.
• Staying up-to-date on relevant legal developments and industry best practices.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of the company's legal strategy and risk management.
• Support the Legal Team with all other legal matters.

What you bring to the role:

• Qualified attorney and Member of the California Bar (in good standing)
• 5+ years of experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
• In-house legal experience highly preferred
• Experience working in the e-commerce or retail sectors
• Demonstrated experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating various commercial agreements
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to provide quick-thinking, pragmatic, business-oriented advice while properly balancing risks and business reward
• Entrepreneurial spirit of a self-starter with an eagerness to build and grow relationships
• Ability to manage workloads, multiple demands, and shifting priorities

Location: This is an on-site, office based role in Anaheim, CA.

Salary: $160,000+ annually
