Job Title: Manager of Coding Quality


Location: Tampa, FL 33634 (Hybrid Role, two days per week in office))


Our client is currently seeking a skilled Manager of Coding Quality to join their team. As a direct hire position, this role offers a competitive starting salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact.


Responsibilities:


Provide coding and coding auditing services directly to healthcare providers.

Analyze and translate medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes.

Correlate coding accuracy with correct HCC assignment for MA/Risk and/or CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and Modifiers for FFS.

Ensure compliance with all aspects of Coding and Corporate Compliance standards.

Abide by ethical standards and adhere to official coding guidelines.

Qualifications:


Certified Coding Professional (CPC) or equivalent certification.

Strong understanding of medical coding principles and guidelines.

Experience with HCC coding and risk adjustment.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills.
