DEPOSIT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
Summary of Position:
Performs a variety of specialized & complex tasks/assignments specifically required for banking public entities. Performs daily operational and technical functions of the Public Funds (PF) deposit services tasks. Performs daily processing, reconciliation and resolve any out of balance issues on PF deposits. Responsible for providing excellent customer service that mirrors the culture & mission of Central Bank. Supports VP & SVP with all administrative functions.
Primary Job Duties (Essential functions):
Deposit Services
- Ensures superior quality customer service to meet external and internal standards established
- by the Bank.
- Performs daily operational functions regarding PF customers’ new accounts, account maintenance, and customer service activities.
- Verify wire transfer signatures & account balances for Treasury Management processing.
- Opens commercial accounts for PF customers and/or consultants.
- Assists in processing specialized legal documents for officer approval, to include escrow agreements and escrow withdrawals, master signature card, master resolutions, consultant authorization resolution, etc.
- Performs daily processing, reconciliation and resolve any out of balance issues on PF deposits.
- Maintains existing customer relationships.
- Assists in the growth and development of new products and services for PF customers.
- Participates in activities for generating new business, such as sales calls, conferences and special events, as requested.
- Provides customers with courier pick up service, as needed.
Administrative Support
- Completes Bank mandatory training, as required.
- Complies with applicable regulations and Texas legislation for PF customers.
- Prepares data for weekly and/or monthly reporting to department and executive management.
- Completes PF Deposit Services training schedule as assigned.
- Follows all departmental operational processes, procedures & policies.
- Performs responsibilities as assigned in the Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Assists in program testing, as needed.
- Scans PF Deposit Services documents, as assigned.
- Performs general administrative and clerical activities in the department.
