Position Summary

MayTech Global Investments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Assocaite to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with wirehouse platforms and their financial advisors by presenting MayTech's investment strategy and driving sales through effective communication and relationship management.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at wirehouse platforms.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential financial advisor partners who align with MayTech's client profile and investment philosophy.
  • Effectively present and educate financial advisors on the features and benefits of MayTech's long-only global growth investment strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals tailored to specific wirehouse platforms and their advisors. Respond to inquiries from them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and client service to ensure a seamless experience for financial advisors and their clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective relationship building and strategic sales activities.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services sales, preferably with a focus on asset management or wealth management. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships with financial advisors and wirehouse platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of global investment markets and long-only equity investment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong work ethic and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
