Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support company growth objectives and enhance profitability.
  • Provide expert financial analysis and guidance to the executive team on key business decisions.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision.
  • Financial Operations Management:
  • Lead the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including month-end close, preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, and financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Optimize payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders, including biweekly, monthly, and annual updates.
  • Analyze key financial data points to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Banking & Tax Compliance:
  • Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient cash flow management.
  • Oversee tax compliance, working with external advisors to ensure adherence to national and local tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA designation preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Financial Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and tax compliance.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and optimizing cash flow.
  • Leadership & Management:
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving:
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions under pressure.
