Position Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious, organized, and outgoing Sales Representative to join our team. This role is critical to our sales efforts, focusing on lead generation, scheduling and coordinating sales presentations, and nurturing client relationships. The right candidate will be well-positioned for future growth into roles such as project management, marketing, or business development.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who can interact with clients effectively across various mediums, including phone, social media, and email. Previous sales experience, particularly within the steel construction industry, will set you apart, as will familiarity with Salesforce and other sales platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential sales opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Sales Presentations: Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for clients.
  • Sales Documentation: Track all interactions with clients, documenting efforts and following up as necessary using CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Client Follow-ups: Ensure consistent follow-up with leads and clients to close sales opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, project managers, and marketing department to align efforts and improve the overall sales strategy.


Duties:

  • Generate and nurture leads through various channels such as phone calls, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Schedule and organize sales meetings and presentations for clients.
  • Assist with proposal creation, sales materials, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system (Salesforce experience is advantageous).
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client queries and maintaining consistent communication.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the steel construction or related industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients across multiple platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, social media platforms).
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of self-motivation and the desire to learn and grow within the company.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or experience in the steel construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other sales tracking tools.
  • A proven track record of generating leads and closing sales in a competitive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
